The Sexton:

The Restless. Brand Campaign

To help The Sexton® Single Malt Irish Whiskey launch in the United States. Articulate and Proximo Spirits teamed up with Versus to create a brand film that celebrated their audience.

Born out of a blend between historic Irish whiskey making traditions and modern-day maturation experimentation, The Sexton represents the changing face of culture, capturing the romance and provenance of the past and the optimism and creativity of the future.

To put a face on these people Versus sought out and identified several artists that embodied the drive, energy, innovation and creativity that defines the dreamer generation, as well as fits the profile of a Sexton ambassador. These were real people, not actors, and their authenticity was the corner stone of the film

Featuring Cocktail Bar Owner and actor Donal Brophy, Fashion Photographer & Fashion Designers Jason & Laura Odell, the Set Design & Fabrication team at 4×8 Workshop, this film was directed by Versus Executive Creative Director Justin Barnes and followed groups of people from different walks of life in different cities, classes, and backgrounds all with one thing in common; they never rest, and are always pursuing their dreams, passions, and potential, and reflecting on a restless life
